Oh, I'm just back, that's all. What were you thinking?

Yeayyyyy, after a week without the Internet, I'm back! Huraay! Gosh, I feel so relieved when Dad said that everything's fine. And I tell you, getting to "everything's fine" isn't as easy as just reformating and starting form scratch or whatever. What am I saying?

Anyway, both Dad and me have no idea how to do this reformating process. So Dad did what he thought should have been done. But, isn't after reformating, everything will be gone? Well, everything was still in the computer after the first attempt, and that blardy trojan horse is still there. So Dad tried again, still the same, everything didn't went away, even Sue Anna Joe's shadow is still on the desktop.

But the funny thing is, the modem went hay-wire and so couldn't connect to the internet after the failed attempts. So had to wait for Dad's friend to come over and fixed the problem. Over the weekend!! What am I suppose to do for the whole week?! I've got no work last week, there's nothing to do, it's repeats all over again on tv, it's so blardy hot nowadays and I'm broke. It's a pretty rough week lah, I'll wake up late, wash up, watch tv, get sweaty, wash up again and watch tv. Of course the frequent eats and others in between. But that's just about it. THought about going to the library to use the Net there but I'm such a lazy bum.

But everything wasn't that bad. I made used of the house and started a photo-taking frenzy. I did 2 series of self-portraits and I can't wait to get through PSP, which I've yet to install back, and have fun! OOoooOo, I can't wait! Maybe I can get my own deviantart account? Hmmm, nah, most of the artworks I see there are soooooo professional-looking and pretty and just WOW-at-first-glance, but the more I see it, the more I wanna create my own kind of pictures. Wheee.

Or maybe just another page in here with all my photos and all. Speaking of which, I need to get an idea what the next layout will be!

Besides playing doll and a goth queen (hint hint) in front of my digi-cam, some other interesting things happen while I suffered internet withdrawal symptoms. Like realising that Joey the cat is scratching himself non-stop that there's bald patches all over his body. One of Afir's teeth was pulled out for the second time. Gasp! Does it mean that it won't grow back?? And when Kak Dilah questioned my sis what Malaikat Izrail cabut, she said, "...Lari?" Malaikat Izrail cabut lari?!?!?! EHheh, she so gonna do 'well' for the test Kak Dilah's gonna give us. And a lizard crawled up my leg. Hmmm...

While waiting for a bus to have dinner with the family at Bedok Corner, I was reading 8Days when a lizard hurried over to my leg and hid. At first, I felt something furry and small went pass my foot. I moved around and didn't see where the creature went off to. All of a sudden, my brothers were practically screaming, "There's a lizard in your leg! Lizard in your leg! Lizard in your leg!!! LIZARD IN YOUR LEGGGGGG!!!!!" Lizards are not furry, I rolled my eyes at them. But the fact that they were realllly screaming (esp Afir, with his kiddy and unbroken voice) and that people around us were looking at us,... errr. So I just shook my leg and eeeekkk! A lizard dropped from the inside of my jeans and scampered off in fear. And the worse thing is..... Everyone was laughing. And also that a lizard went up my jeansss! But everyone was laughing.... =$ That so sucks, but I laughed it off... errmm.. well, let's just that I hid behind the magazine throughout the waiting. But the fact that my brothers couldn't laughed anymore harder did't make it better. Grrr...

Owells, at least these kind of things kept me occupied throughout the week. I think. Err.. yar. I definitely missed paintshopping, so watch out for a new layout yar ;) Other than that, I still gonna wait before installing everything back, until my Dad is satisfied that everything's working and all. Oh, whatever. I got the Internet back! And I get to see Sue Anna's gallery again.. funkyyyyyy :D

That's it. As much as I hate to go through it, the computer needs to be reformatted. Sniff sniff. Yes, I tried my best to avoid going down that path cos it means that everything will be lost after reformatting. And I mean everything! Fonts, pics, my artworks, my musiccc and oh gosh! PSP8!! But no worries for that, I got the CD ;) Haizz.. and a whole lot moreee....

This all started when I can't click on links that open up into a new window. It will hang for awhile before prompting me that that window needs to closed due to some blardy error shits. So frustrating that I have to go to properties, copy the URL and paste it into another window. Ah, cannot tahan anymore!

But thankfully, when I noticed the 'symptoms', I immediately bought one box of CD-RWs and burn all of my stuffs, and I mean allll, into the CDs. I even zipped up those programs that I need cos leceh to find and download and install whatnots lah yar. In total, out of those 10 CDs, I used 6. Wowww. Thank goodnes, I would just dieee if the com dies on me that instant before transfering my stuffs.

So now, I'm waiting for my Dad to get out of his procastination zone and get this reformating thing done and over with. And by the way Noi described to me the process of reformating, it sounds very depressing. =(

On a lighter note, I'm greatly inspired by Sue Anna Joe. OMG, her works are wonderful and beautiful. I even had on of her works as my desktop, heehhe. So inspired that I did my own series of self-portraits. It so blardy fun to use the timer, haha.

So after work on Saturday, I asked Vincent if I could take personal pictures inside the freezer. And he gave me the green light so long as there's no taking of 'sensitive' pictures. Ya, whatever, who wants to take pictures of a frozen chicken wing? Anyway, yea, I happily walked into the freezer with my camera hidden away from the restaurant manager who just happens to be talking to another manager at that area, yikes. So I quickly examined the freezer, where to focus and everything. And gosh, it was realllly cold. But the hot puffs of air coming from my mouth was cooler, ehehe. So I took several shots, with the timer. Lovely! Sadly, the camera didn't capture the hot breaths. Oh well, then I'm off back home to edit the piccies.

Too lazy to upload the piccies here, but you can check my Friendster profile to see some of the self-portraits there, yayyy. I'm so excited. I'm so gonna continue doing this kind of shots, so much expression. But no way I can match up to Sue Anna Joe, she's like, wowww. I'll be taking more shots in the freezer again, next time at work. And I'm also planning another series of shots at different areas in my home no time to venture out yet. The holiday mood has sunk in on me ;). Oh do check out Anna' site. Gotta go ;)

Damn it, it sounds soooooooo real. It looks fucking real. I was petrifieddd! Like reallly pretrified. OMG!! When I clicked the link, my gosh! I see the amount that I'm supposed to pay increase rapidlyy! Like, all of a sudden, it increases up until 10,000 US dollarsss! I said 'up until' cos I was already hyperventitaling and panicking, so I closed the window before I take my last breath when I see the final amount. WTFF??!?!

First person I went to talk about was, no, not my Dad. He'll kill me, then he'll die when he himself see the amount. So I told Sara. Cos earlier, he told me that he received this RIAA thingy asking him to stop downloading stuffs.

I was half angry half relieved. But Sara thought I was realllllllllly mad mad mad mad mad at him. He tried to apologise in MSN but I didn't reply. Then he SMSes me, haahha. I see the way he wrote the SMS, very desperate. "... pls dun be mad at me. Pweese. Promise this will be the 1st and last prank..." And I didn't talk to him the whole day yesterday in school, only a 'bye'. Lolll!! He didn't even try to talk to me, ahahah! He kept his distance, I noticed. HAHAHA! It was quite hard for me not to just drop to the floor and laughhhh and keep a stern face when he was around us.

So now, it's okay. I told him I wasn't mad at him. hahah, He was relieveeddd. He even though my MSN nick was targeted at him, like please, no la. Don't always think it's you la eh?

One last paper to go, an open-booked Java exam. Alrite, I'm off writing notes in the bookk :D Oh, and if the next time you got this kind of email, make sure to check every detail of it, there's bound to be something fishy about it. Haah, it sure teaches me that already.

Oh watta week!!

DVID paper is a screamer! But I'm not sure why I'm laughing. Maybe its the drama that happened in the class during the paper. Eheh, owell, everyone seems to be talking about that Jennifer Ang's paper, wth? Asking us how to operate Adobe Premiere? *_* Hhaha, and The Abyss? Owell, I'm not surprised if she have to do another moderations for DVID results, ehesee.

DAUD paper was a-okay, manageable. And I cannot forget the look Ridwan gave to me and Zak. Bewildered, much? ;) The paper started at 6pm, gosh! A 2-hour paper, but me, Noi, Zak and Sara planned to finish the paper by 7:30pm. Cos we wanted to catchthe 8pm movie over at Lido. Yes, we have time for movies in the middle of the exam week. Sue us for havingg funnnn!

Right, the movie. It was The Eye 10. I had my eyes closed for some parts of the movie..... Okkkkk! I had my eyes closed for most parts of the movieee. When Noi screamed beside me, I can still ask her what happened. And she can still tell me what just happened. Up until she realised something was up, she asked me if I had my eyes closed. Yes, I did. :D Guilty as chargeddd.

Oh, I went back home late that night. And that brother of mine (the other one, not Afir), complained to my folks that why I can go back late, and he can't. He was grounded (ahahahahah!!) last week for not coming back home from this 'chalet' at ECP. He insisted on staying over there, despite my parents' stern warning to come back home that instant, but noooooo. Anyway, I didn't wanna answer him cos wth, I don't care. Then, when he whined to my Dad the next day, he turned to him and asked him this...

Dad: What's the difference between you and Kakak?

And I immediately turned to look at my brother. I had this look and smile on my face that says, "Yesh, what's the difference between muah and youu?" And he kept quiet.

Dad: Kakak's 18 already, you're not. She can take care of herself. You can't. She's much more responsible than you will ever be!

Okay, so I made the last sentence up, but what my dad said is totalllly true! And how so cool of him to stand up for me. Hehehehe! Love you Daddy! Yesh, eat dirt my dear brother!! But I doubt he'll give you much freedom even when you're legal, cos really, you can't seem to get yourself away fromtrouble, ish ish. Owell, :pppp

And todayyyyyyyyy! =) Exciting in some way. Me and the usual girls went around Chinatown, like what? 3 times? Ok no. That wasn't true. It was 4 times. You seeee. we were desperately trying to find this Timberlux Center to go to this flea market. But we were realllly lost. We seriously went around in circlesss. We took this bus and alighted at this stop. And we starting walking to nowhere. We gave up and had some yums at Plaza Singapura, eheh. And we did what we intended to do for today; shoppinggg. And guess whatttt? I finally found ittt!

Hmmm.. ahhh.. peace at last. I made up for the sleep I lost 2 days ago for STSC assignment (and still I hand it late -_-) last night. 14 hours of sleep. And it's just enough. Assignments-free nawww. Nothing else to worry anymoree, yippyy! Then there's the exams next week. And the planning of the class BBQ which is yet to confirmed. And work. And ... Life's a bitch. But I love it.

Anyhoo, speaking of assignments, YESH! Over, over, over, over. I can get back to normal sleeping mode now. I still cannot believe I slept for 1 1/2 hours only, 2 nights ago. And just to do storyboarding, or drawing out thumbnails specifically. Only to find out the next day that most of the class did their thumbnails for 10 minutes. I spent 2 hours over it. Arghghgh! The horrorrrr! All the hallucinations at 4am for nothinggg!! Still, I handed it late, but whatever, 20 minutes to me is not latee. And Java. Hmmm.. what can I say. The second interview went well. This time, all the images appeared. Noi helped me to change some codes, thanks Noi!! And we both laugh when we tried to animate it properly. We pressed the left and right keys, still the girl doesn't move across the screen. Then we waited for awhile. And the girl suddenly appeared at the other end of the screen. Lol! We lol-ed so hard. Then after another round of editing, we need to minimise the window, the maximise the window again and only then the girl will appear at the other of the screen.

Well, for now, it's just R&R. Might be following Mom and bro swimming. Been agess since I went for a swim. Whee.. just keep swimming, just keep swimmming, swimming, swimming.
