Met the folks at Tanjong Pagar. Dad got this BioSkin discount and so decided to put it to use by letting my Mom try all this slimming fiasco. While we wait for Mom, me and Dad walked around Tanjong Pagar Plaza and talked. It was really nice. I don't talk to him that often, so I was really enjoying chatting, it was so fun. He told stories of how he used to be the 'victim with 100% burns' and needs to be air-lifted to the hospital back during the old police training days. It was soo funny, cos in the first place, who can survive 100% burns? Hehhe, funny scenarios laa. And I didn't know my Dad rode on a helicopter, it was tres coolll. My Dad rode on a helicopterr!
I got a bruised lip a few days back. Guess how I got it. Afir shoved his whiteboard to my mouth, leaving the left side swollen and a bleeding gum. Just because I stroke his still-baby smooth cheek. Just beacuse of that. And he shoved it to my face. Bloody brat. And when Dad told him to apologize to me, he cried. Extra bratty. And he pulled this face when he finally apologizes. Totally fake, but yeah, he's justtt a kid -_-. And because of the bruise, I have to watch my laughing, cos it stings when I laughed. Damn, and I thought the torture of having 3 ulcers in my mouth was over. Well, thankfully they're all gone or else I would just plaster my lips together so I won't talk or whatever to prevent more stings. Yikes.
Wheeee!! I got an A for the first assignment for photography class. Wheeeee!! The only one in class to get an A. More wheeesss. Hhaha, I can feel the hateness coming from the class towards me already, hehe. And Yan, I'm sending those A-graded photos to the competition. Watch out... =D Hehhe, oh well, good luck to you tooo ;]

Anyway, anyway, anyway. I felt really honoured on Wednesday, during digi photog class. The lechy praised me for my boldness when I showed him the photographs that I took. He said that I dared to take a landscape shot in a potrait style. I didn't know you're supposed to take a landscape shot in a .. landscape style? Hmmm, but yea, in front of the class! Hahahah. Oh my, my head has grown...
And I kinda cheated a bit. I failed to have a shooting session the previous Sunday, 'stead, I rotted at home, watching tv. So I just went through my pictures folders in the com and picked some out. Interestingly, the lechy liked them alog. He especialyl liked the cat one, hehe. I haven't upload that one yet, but here's the other two that he liked.

Alright, besides that, I'm done with CANI assignment part 1. Just that I was absent to show it to Ahmad. My left knee has been giving me problems since last Monday, so I went to the doc on Friday, thus missing the entire Friday classes. Okayyy, so I overslept for the first class yesterday, but I do have an MC :D
But I should have gotten an MC today, for work. I did came for work though, wearing knee pad and struggling to walk and all. In the end, I only work for a measly 2 hours cos our new restaurant manager, Ah Loon gave the okay for me to go home and rest. Ermm, I didn't. Hehhe. I walked from Orchard to Bugis. Taking pictures along the way. It was actually super fun, taking pictures of unsuspecting people along the way. Yea, it was blisteringly hot, but it was worth it. I can almost forget the struggle walking with an injured knee cos I truly enjoyed it =D I hope I can find the time to upload the photos, but only the ones I liked ;)
Oh no. VIDP presentation and still no concrete ideas. Due this Tuesday, wonderful. Excuse me while I racked my brain.

I am so lazy.
I need to a take a few photography shots by next Wednesday, a storyboard of my animation for CANI and status report for MLP in 2 weeks time, and all are still barely done. I still haven't shake the holiday spirit away, as you can tell. And I still haven't install 3d Max 7 and Adobe Premiere Pro. Still haven't clean up my room. Still haven't buy a bus concession and now my pay's gone. Still haven't decide on what shots to take and show to my lechy for photography class. And I still haven't go out and do a shopping a frenzy cos I simply have no money!!
=( And there's still no word from Sue Anna Joe. She won't read this, but I hope she comes back soon and starts submitting again and be happy again. Cos I think that if she comes back and post all of her beautiful works, I might have the inspiration to do more shots. I already have plenty of ideas in my head and am already testing out these ideas on random days and can't wait to do the real thing. But I just had to sleep and watch Buffy. -_-
Oh, if Sue Anna just soooo happen to read this, hi! =D I'm your biggest fan. You inspire me soo soo much! Please come back, everyone in dA misses you. :nod:
Regarding the laziness (1st paragraph), I decided to start on my photo-taking "assignment" first. Hmm, did I mention this before? I registered for an elective module, The Revealing Eye of Digital Photography. Actually, my 3rd choice. But the backpacking and accent mocules are actually for next semester (!! SP bluffed us!!), so I ended up in DP, which is great for my interest in photography has increase tremendously over the past few months =D. And it's not really an assignment because the lechy wants to submit us all in this national photo competition. Send a picture that symbolises the phrase "Life is Great". And I have plenty of ideas! The challenge is whether I can really do these ideas. Oh well, we'll see. I'm going out tomorrow to certain locations to see the environment there. And I'll start the drawing of the storyboard on Monday, since there's also CANI practical on that day and I can ask questions if I have my doubts. And as for MLP, it's a group work, so the gang can meet up probably on Monday as well. Hmm, looks like everything's planned, it's only a matter of sticking to the plan. And I hope tomorrow will be a wonderful day if I do manage to take some photographs.
And gosh! I've been meaning to tell you a longggggggggggg time ago, Nurul. I cannot tag at your webbie! Yes! I keep forgetting to tell you this, even in school. Argh. Yea, I cannot tag. Says something about cookies. Maybe it's this computer, eheh. =p
And I can predict the hardest part of going out tomorow, esp if I go town. I'll be soo tempted to join the GSS crowd. But no moolah! I want a new camera, a tripod, new clothes, new shoes (!!! a must!), CDs/DVDs, and just enjoying the spirit of shopping, heh. =( And now I need to top-up my ez-link! I just top-up about 3 days ago and it's all gone, so fast! I must remember who owe me money, so I can take from them right now. I know Mr Lau owes me $41, Fira owes me $30, but she said she belanja me instead. I like that, but at this moment, I rather have the cold hard cash instead. And I gotta buy another book for class. I think I need to pamper my Dad for awhile, since his pay is coming :D.
Oh, it'll be nice if you guys can help me do a favour. Just think up of some ideas for my photo competition. Don't worry if it doesn't match to the "life is great" meaning, I just like to hear some ideas =) Thanks in advance! For now, I gotta kick the habit of sleeping in late.

School's been alright. Besides the early hours, it's good. I realised that my class seemed to get lecturers that are just too... weird. Ha, I mean funny-weird. Hilariously-funny weird. Our new personal tutor is Mr Ho, this fella with an alarming ermm...Let's just say he reminds me of Squidward. And Squidward has a rather big ..? :D Yea, nose. He's also our lecturer for Design For User Interface. Well, during the first lecture on Monday, the lecture was alright, if not slow at the beginning. He was showing this slides on the interfaces of everyday items. And there was these teapots on the slide, one's the normal-looking one, and the other's with the handle directly above the ..spout? Ah, the word slip off my mind, anyway, ya, where the water spouts out of the teapot, yes. He asked what's wrong with the latter. After awhile, he starts to demonstrate why the design is wrong by starting to sing and dance. I'm a little teapot, short and stout. This is my handle, this is my .. Oh no, is the word spout?!! Loll! Anyway, yes, he even danced along. It was hilarious. And because of him, we can't get that song out of our head, ahahah.
Another lecturer to think about it our Media Law & Policy one, Mr Poh. He was a lawyer before he became full-time in SP. He told stories about his lawyer days, hah, very funny. He's very lively. He'll be talking and then, starts to laugh. The kind of laugh like a ermm.. hmmm.. gundu kind. Hahhaha. When he starts to laugh like that, we'll join in too. And he seems like the dork kind. Very loveable. And he teaches well too. Ahaha, I think there's something about these lawyer-turned-lecturer kind. Lol.
So far so good. Though there's already assignments chasing after us, can't hurt us to just enjoy the first week, ya'know. Heheh, and the School of ICT hasn't changed one bit, 'cept of the sudden burst of lively and bright colours on the wall. Gee, they have money to paint the walls, even the stairs and benches but they couldn't try to get more equiptments like the DV-cams and etc. And the colours they used are such an eye-sore. Oh! Oh! There's an ice-cream vending machine in the canteen. Hahah. We looked at it and wondered where the ice-cream were. All we see through the glass is this compartment. I tried to give it a try and pressed the desired ice-cream. All of a sudden, the lid of the compartment swung open and me, Noi and Yana (we were nearer to the machine and right in front of it) just went "WOOOOOWWWWW!!!!" and tip-toed to look at the inside of the compartment. And there were the ice-cream! Wheee! We practically had our faces stuck to the glass, lol. Then this tube that looks like a part of a vacuum machine moved above the ice-cream, Split, stopped over and dropped. But it dropped into this empty space beside the ice-cream. The tube started to suck the contents out. But when it came back out, there were TWO ice-creams! Hahha. We were hoping that the free one won't dropped back and it didn't! Hahah! Yayyy! I'm starting to love the machine :DD.
On Friday, my sis, Zak and I went to Expo to check out the PC Show. Crowded like shit. Went to the Creative booth, and it was packed more over there than the rest of the booths, interestinggg. We contemplate whether to buy the mp3 players. But the price is still too much for me and my pay doesn't cover for it and even if it does, I don't want to spent everything on one item, cos there's still school books to buy! Eeks. Anyway, we went around, bought okanami (is that you spell it? if not, heck, it's yummyy!) and we came upon this booth. They were selling a 256mb mp3 player for just 82$$$!!! Worth the money! So both my sis and Zak tried to get that, but by the time it came to our turn, it was sold-out. Arghh! Left with 512mb and 1gb, 115$ and 171$ respectively. I won't let my sis get the 512 one cos I'm sure she'll just use about 200mb so why buy? And Zak had a limit. So we went around again. Zak found another bargain and bought it straight away. My sis and I went back to the previous booth and asked if they have stock the next day. So, I told my sis that she gotta go by herself to purchase it cos I had work yesterday. SO I considered the player as part mine as well,.. I see it as a share. Even though it's a cash. Heehhe. A 256mb player! Zak has a 512mb player (for 109$, oh, if I'm not mistaken it is a 512mb, owell) Hehhee... Noiiii... you have your own 128mb :D:DD Gosh, me and Zak are gonna gloat to her soo much. Loll.
It's been a long while since I got pissed at work. If you are frustrated at someone, don't take it out on someone or made your pissyness known to your other colleagues. Like for me, I don't know that you're piss at someone so don't involve me or set a tone at me. Cos of that I'm frustrated at her. and because of me being frustrated, everything went cock-up for a short moment at counter. It's one thing to not listen to your shift IC, but to walk off and go to main store and 'volunteer' yourself to do counter there. Bullshit. Earlier on, Kathy just reminded you to respect your IC, Asyik. But when she's gone, you tried to do your own way. And you went pissy with Asyik cos you THINK that when he's giving us stations or asking you to help me out with the sandwiches and iced drinks, he's just trying to impress me. I'm sorry, but I still considered the relationship at work as professional and serious, no playing or fooling around. And there's nothing between us and you know it yourself too. So stop implying that he's doing this or that or whatever for the sake of impressing. He's a good leader and at that time, a good tutor for Sha who's training in his coffee. But you felt differently, you thought that Sha shouldn't even be touching the espresso machine. Whatever, you kept your frustrations to yourself cos it can affect others too. Goshh... I was glad that that moment was brief and everything was fine. I'm glad that you realise that there's nothing to be pissed about.
=) There, my rant about work and everything else, phew, nice to get it out =). And I got my account at deviantart already. Finally. It's not properly constructed yet, I haven't get all my pieces up. The laziness is still in effect I guess :P spahkerling gerlows me Ok then, I'm off to fill my tummy, yummsss.
