me yan and noi went out today to conduct our very own graduation photoshoots. our style. we went to punggol and made use of the empty space there. turns out very nicely and we had lotsa fun!

yea, so i revealed my new hairdo to the peeps on graduation day. heehhe.
and on graduation day, its not what i expected it to be. im glad the whole ceremony didn't take that long. yes, i was starting to feel nervous about getting up on stage and received the scroll. but i threw that feeling aside and walked towards the director. shook hands, took pictures and walked off.
then i turned to the crowd and gave them a 'rock on' hand gesture. i was mad crazy and i am proud of it.
even when i proceeded back to my seat, someone called out to me and said, "hey you!" then she gave me the same hand gesture. wahahahahah!!
then, we were super surprised when nasir got up to deliver the final speech. the cool people all got up and gave him a standing ovation when he ended his speech.
i was one of the cool people.
oh, thankfully i sat next to nurul. we've got side-by-side seat numbers! and people around us were prolly wondering how us 2 girls can make so much noise in the auditorium. wahaha. yes, we were noisy. so what. we're diploma holders now!
anyway, we scrambled out when the ceremony was over, looking for our other gang peeps and then desperately tried to pull each other apart, trying to get duo pics with them.
sadly, my camera died cos me mom bought cheap-o batteries. and that my brother simply doesn't know how to take pictures.
so i was pulling either yan or noi along with me, asking them to take pics of me with other people, wahaha, even with my mom and granmom.
overall. it turned out to be a memorable day. jeanine came over and advised me to just simply send out our fyp video to all of the film festivals available. i am super motivated after that! then she said to simply email her for job recommendations. !!!
okay, i shall stop there with the graduation details.
now, we're at world's end.
yan managed to book seats for us for the movie yesterday. the sneak preview babyy! super excited. so here's my attempted of a review for it. may be spoilerish. beware.
the movie is long. almost to 3 hours. and sadly, it's too long. i couldn't catch up to where the plot was going. especially the several mutinies that were going around. i seriously had no idea who was backstabbing who. then when jack sparrow made his screen debut, i thought, they really literally made up the time lost explaining the journey to world's end with jack's appearance.
for that you have to watch the movie to understand what i just said. =]
but i was glad to finally see jack on screen finally. ^.^
however, I EXPECTED MORE OF WHAT DAVY JONES' LOCKER SHOULD LOOK LIKE!
i mean, i really thought it would look like spongebob's version of davy jones' locker =/
anyway. despite certain uncertain pirates dialogue that i still have trouble with to understand (maybe that's why i didn't get the plot as much as i wanted to), the action and fight scenes totally save the movie. and this coming from a fan of the previous 2 movies.
loves loves loves loves the final battle scene, with the whirlpool and the pearl versus the flying dutchman and everything. the special effects were wonderful. barbossa was wonderful when he was fighting and spewing gibberish words and laughters out from his mouth. i'm totally loving his hahahah laughter. it's almost contagious, wahhaha.
ahem, anyway. the fight scenes are very generous. never ending. and im so glad it was. the one between jack and davy jones are hilarious at one point, especially when davy jones yelped in pain after a measly shot at the fingers. or rather, his claw, whichever fits.
then it got all sad suddenly with will's outcome of the battle. even jack sparrow was taken aback at will's fate. you can see it in his eyes how much he wanted to save willy. awwww.
so everything started up brighten up (literally) when davy jones became a seafood platter (don't worry, that's not literal). and the fate of the flying dutchman was revealed. i was quite happy with the revealation seeing how will suffered till the end.
so my overall rating for the movie is 4/5. like i said, the movie was saved by the sheer awesomeness of the fight scenes and the special effects. and it helps that those scenes are just great.
so i still encourage all to watch it. the action scenes won't disappoint =].
oh don't forget to stay till the credits end for an extra clip on the turner family. ;)
okay. im done with the review. and i know that the producers are setting up a possible sequel seeing how once again, jack lost his black pearl. i would love for there to be a sequel. only if it centers around jack. because i was sooo dying to know more about him, especially during his father/son 'bonding' moment!
oh and chow yun fat's screen time equals to the total time of the credits, including that extra footage. tsk tsk tsk.
and singapore. guess the people at the land over the pacific ocean still thinks we are a part of china -_-

well, waddya think?
took me a very very long time to get the whole design concept finalize. and im very happy. i never knew that there's alot of work to be done on the image itself, wahahah!
and then i have my new favourite song that is going around in my head playing in here. fantastic! yes, even girls aloud are singing about singapore.
ok, that will be all, spend the whole day trying to get this up because it's time for a new look!

ok i was watching ghost hunting with girls aloud in youtube awhile ago and it was so hilarious even though its supposed to be a 'ghost hunting'. and yea, i love anything girls aloud okay.
anyway, there was this one time, they were at haunted house no. 1 and cheryl got stroked on the arm by 'something'. lol. so she got spooked and cried abit. but later on, at the same house, she started feeling comfortable, sorta. cursing and swearing in her thick british accent and all. then, they were all just gathering around with the psychic (a fake and unprofessional one i tell ya) and were all laughing. then another girl, sarah, she was extremely worked up over the whole experience that the man spirit there totally doesn't want them to be there and cheryl kept smiling.
so she stood up and said, "if you are in here, please knock on the fucking table!"
immediately something drop on the table beside her and fell over and everybody scrambled out of the room with sarah yelling, "cheryl you fucker!"
lmao, its hilarious, completely hilarious. i could see cherly sniggering and then next running for her life, ahahaha.
and you know, they don't say 'fuck'. they say it as 'fook'. ahahah so it went like this, knock on the fooking table. BAM! ahahhaa
okay, yea, that's it for now, i shall go eat. yumms.
