oh yes!
today is finally the day! the day where i didn't stall the car during driving lesson! i am so, so happy and so glad that i managed to pull through. wheeee!
speaking of which, i have booked my test date. 4th of february 2008. i know it's still a wee bit early but i hope i'll be getting myself an early 21st birthday gift on that day. heeheh.
i still have a long way to go before that date, so i'll just have to finish up the final module and take maybe one revision lesson every week before test date. i just learnt how to reverse and drive on a slope. next week's gonna be all about parking the car! yay!
i have spend so much money on all of the lessons. most of them coming from my own pathetic income, which is sad by the way, because i was led into getting driving lessons with financial support. =(
but anyway, let's move away with another subject.
i was working on deepavali when i saw yan and syarah at mcd buying breakfast when i ran over and screamed "heyyyy!" okay, maybe not scream, but it sure did grab people's attention. hah. it was about 930am (i think, i forgot) and they were off to catch a movie. oh you know, taking advantage of the off day to spend time with the other one sort-of stuffs? hehehe. long time no see yan!
then cafe got hit with never-ending crowd. the air was hot, my feet were cramped and tired from the constant running and my hair was a mess. at around 1pm (again, i think) i was surprised to be greeting syan at the counter. hurhurhur, you guys must have seen me all chaotic and stuffs. i hope you guys enjoyed the brownie with ice-cream mmmmm ^-^
then shortly after that, my friend used my left foot to break one small porcelain cup. and the cup actually broke into millions of pieces. so just imagine the impact it must have given to my poor foot. it was a slip of the hand and an accident. but the kind of words that came out of my mouth in one long string immediately after the incident... well, just imagine it. aahah.
heard about the whole hollywood writers strike? yea, i was surprised at first that hollywood could have a strike of anything. then it hit me slowly that damnit, the shows that i loved and cared about are going to be affected by it.
heroes, grey's anatomy, ugly betty, just to name a few, are in trouble at the moment because they are running out of scripts. and desperate housewives have already bloody stop their production because of the strikes happening IN their set. just when DH have gotten so, so, so much good this season.
i hope for the best and that it won't last for so long.
le sigh. anyway. noi, you thought the girl is a combo of britney and katie holmes? hahaahha. well, if so, it's definitely pre-2003 britney and pre-cruise katie.

woah.
i've been gone way too long. sorry about that. been busy busy busy.
to summarise everything that's been happening since my last post, here we go.
the first day of raya was pretty much that. the usual. then when we took family photo.
then while we waited to leave the house, i was playing with my camera. and here's what i got.

this year, hari raya has been quite slack for the family. because sis has to go back to school on the 3rd day of raya, and afir's got exams to complete. both me and the brother are off to work. yes, my brother is working. at changi airport terminal 3. while waiting for his n level results. guess what he's working as.
toilet attendant.
bahahhaha.
so yea, visiting houses during the raya were limited. but when we do have the time to go out, it turned out to be such a hot day that my grandmother actually had a dizzy spell and collapsed. everyone was panicking but when my uncles helped her out, she was smiling sheepishly. i couldn't believe it. she started giggling. ahahah, so cute. but glad she was okay and uninjured.
then there was that time when me, noi and syarah wanted to go out and do our own raya. but we were all working and we all ended up going to noi's place until 1130pm. hhaah. it had been awhile since we last met so we just sit down and talked. good thing we did, because it turned out that syarah needed someone to talk to. poor girl, going through such a horrible experience at her attachment place. i'm hoping for her sake, everything will turn out okay.
ok. i gotta leave here for now. afir is crying that he couldn't use the computer right now. i'll update again, hopefully with more photos and hopefully, much sooner. hehe.
