i love my presents. my mom is jealous that i got a guess bag, ahaha.
i was inspired to take a few several a bunch of shots with my pressies, with a cameo appearance from my red wig. says self-righteous much? lol
i will post some of the memorable ones online, wahaha.
my knee is acting up again. it started 2 1/2 weeks ago, though i didn't bump or fell or anything. oh, i did fell, but after the pain started to show.
did i mentioned before that i fell flat-faced in front of mediacorp? yeah, very graceful. though ironically, all of the people that were around the area had their backs facing me. lol.
anyway, i had to endure the pain through filming, with all the running and bending down and all. now that we are on another filming break again, i thought of seeing the doc, abide my fears of going under the x-ray again and finding out something horrible about my body again.
alas no, doc said it might be the ligaments and she could just give me cream, painkillers and time for the pain to go away. that's the plan. if the pain still persists, god knows what i have to go through.
but i'm a hardworking idiot. i know it hurts, but i still insists on running around and carrying stuffs. i guess it's all the work habits from cafe.
now i have to resort to my own physical therapy session every day and try not to do anymore damage.
so, thank you all for the birthday hellos and wishes. i'm truly appreciative of all of them. and thanks to all of my aunts and uncles for sabo-ing me with spray ribbons and snow.
note - my relatives are such kids at heart. while screaming with joy when they also sprayes at one another, my dad stayed away and watched from afar. but turns out all of them notice him and started running after him. and he had to run while splashing water at them all.
it's veryyyy weird to see them old folks having fun as if they're playing catching in primary school. :}
orite, that's it. i shall start my leg exercise regime now.

i am 21 years old today.
and i'm busy working my ass off, filming for the next 2 days straight.
nevermind, i have a 'partay' to go to on sunday and i shall relax while people pamper me, hehehe.

i thought i could have a week's break to update my resume and finally build my online portfolio.
but i got another gig.
i'm working for shortman films now. if you have remembered, i've worked with them on several occasions during and after poly. now, i'm hired for 6 months (or more).
right now, i'm the production assistant. i have my task briefs and have started on it.
it's going to be a interesting gig.
anyway, filming is coming soon. and since i have already started work, i'm thinking that maybe i can't go back to cafe for my last few days. but knowing how long production can take, i shall just tell them that i can't make it. yup.
so anyway. i have my own cubicle, it's so small. a laptop and my own email account.
all i need left is a name card for me to start sending around. but that's the company name card.
i still need to come up with a name care of my own. as an own individual.
so noi, can i propose to you to design me a name card? :D
oh! and the trailers that i was a part of during my recent mediacorp gig is out on tv! it's the valentine's day-theme trailer. the guy chasing the girl in the taxi around singapore and the old couple dancing ala bollywood style.
one more trailer to be out next, i expect that to be out in late feb? since we are still one scene short. oh well, i shall tell again if i see it appearing on tv.
hmmm, yan is flying off to taiwan this thursday. we are meeting him and all for dinner on wednesday.

i passed. i'm an official driver.
the last mock test that i did, i got 30++ demerit points.
i got 4 demerit points this time.
WOW.
it seems that i veered off course when lane changing? oh well.
oh my god, i am so happy. it was my advanced birthday present!
wheee.
also, yesterday's evening, met up with noi and syarah for dinner. and noi presented me with her advanced birthday present! ok i was taken completely off guard with that surprise.
thanks noi very very much!!
even daddy is planning a bbq/birthday for me.
i don't wanna jinx it much, but it seems that 2008 will be a good year for me.
